With a background in UNIX and Apple platforms, Arek has spent over two decades training IT professionals, authoring technical books, and building courses that simplify complex systems.

He’s known for coauthoring Managing Apple Devices and rewriting Apple’s Directory Services curriculum. Arek also serves as an admin for the 76,000-member Mac Admins Slack community. Arek joined Iru in 2021. He became the host of Patch Me If You Can™’s first season, spotlighting the real work behind modern IT.

Aaron got his start at the Apple Genius Bar, where working hands-on with Apple’s products sparked a deep appreciation for the craft behind everything they do.

He went into mobile device management at United Technologies (now Raytheon Technologies), then ran mobility programs at scale at Nike. Aaron joined Iru as its first sales engineer, transitioned to product, and is now VP of Product, Platform, leading the company’s AI product initiatives and cohesive platform work. He is the current host of Patch Me If You Can™.
