What's the minimum commitment?
Each client tenant starts at 25 devices on a 12-month term, billed monthly on Net 30. If a client drops devices later in the term, your annual floor holds at the committed minimum. Anything you add extends on a matching 12-month term, so the growth in your book carries forward as recurring revenue.
How does billing work across tenants?
Right now, each client tenant runs on its own annual contract and Iru rolls them into a single invoice you can pay in one ACH. When the partner portal launches this quarter, you'll self-provision new client tenants from the parent portal and Iru will bill your peak device count in arrears across the full book. Per-tenant exports come with it, so you have clean usage data to bill your own customers.
When does the partner portal launch?
Beta is rolling out this quarter. Early adopters get first access to the parent portal, Not For Resale (NFR) licenses for their own lab tenant, and partner pricing locked in before general availability resets the rate card.
What support model do partners get?
You pick the support model per tenant. In fully managed, you own the client relationship and Iru routes any inquiry back to you. In reseller, your end clients can reach Iru Support directly. Either way, you keep private tickets and scoped admin roles.
Do you support Windows and Android?
Iru covers both. The Iru Agent runs the same way on Windows as it does on Mac, so you manage and secure Windows fleets without adding a second tool. Android is covered through Mobile Device Management (MDM) for enrollment, policy, and app deployment.
What about certifications for my engineers?
Iru is finalizing the partner certification path with the launch cohort, so your engineers can sell and deploy with the same depth as Iru's own Sales Engineers (SEs). Your partner contact has the current syllabus and timing. Launch cohort partners are shaping what the tracks cover.
Does Iru charge for customer support?
Iru Support is included for every partner and every customer tenant. Support engineers cover 24/5 across chat, email, and the Customer Portal. Iru's Support AI and Knowledge Base are available 24/7, so your team has somewhere to go on weekends and off-hours.
Can I manage all my client tenants from one place?
From the parent tenant, you see your full book on one screen — every client's device count, health, billing, and APNs status. Switch between clients without separate logins, and run actions across tenants from a single console. Available in Beta this quarter.
What happens if a client drops below the 25-device minimum mid-term?
Your annual floor holds at the committed minimum for the rest of the term, so a client downsizing doesn't claw back your revenue. Devices added later in the term extend on a matching 12-month term, so growth in your book compounds.
Is partner pricing locked in?
Partner pricing is locked at application and doesn't reset when Iru's list price moves. Early adopters keep their pre-portal rate after general availability.
Which compliance frameworks can my clients sell against?
Iru's compliance product covers SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and more. Each client tenant gets tailored controls and its own Trust Center, so you can productize compliance as part of your managed offering.
How does the MSP hierarchy work?
One level deep — your MSP parent tenant manages your client tenants. Provisioning actions like creating a tenant, enabling a product, and setting billing happen at the parent level. Data-plane access to devices and users runs through OAuth with explicit consent from each client, and they can revoke it anytime without breaking billing or portal structure.
What does onboarding a new client tenant look like?
Spin up a trial tenant in minutes from the parent portal, blueprint the client in about 20 minutes for first device deploy, and convert to a paid tenant when you're ready. Billing rolls into your consolidated invoice the moment the tenant goes live.
Where does Iru's vulnerability data come from — NVD, vendor advisories, or both?
Both. Iru ingests CVE data from the National Vulnerability Database and supplements it with vendor security advisories so detection isn't waiting on NVD publication lag.
Does patching still work for devices that are remote, off-VPN, or rarely on the corporate network?
Yes. The Iru Agent runs over the public internet — no VPN, no GPO, no domain join required. Remote laptops get the same patch enforcement as on-network devices the next time they check in.
