The new Default Apps Library Item allows you to set default apps for web browsing, calling, and messaging on iPhone and iPad.
You can select the defaults from a list of App Store app in your Library and pre-installed Apple apps, as well as prevent users from changing the default setting.
This feature is compatible with iPhones and iPads running iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 or later.
