The Windows Custom Script Library Item gives administrators direct control to run custom PowerShell scripts on Windows devices.
This feature adds a dedicated library item for Windows that supports uploading signed PowerShell scripts or manually entering script content. Scripts can include optional command-line parameters and remediation scripts, allowing workflows to be tailored to specific device states or outcomes.
Execution context is configurable, including support for running scripts in a 64-bit PowerShell environment by default, with 32-bit execution available when compatibility is required. Reporting includes execution date/time, stdout, stderr and success/error codes.
This capability enables automation and remediation for both simple and complex use cases. Administrators can address edge cases, enforce configuration standards, and respond quickly to operational needs.
